2018: Named Impact Most Valuable Player for a fourth consecutive season and became the first player in club history to be featured in the MLS Best XI twice in his career… Finished as the club's top scorer and sixth in MLS with 16 goals and first on the club and tied for 10th with 13 assists, appearing in 32 regular season games, all starts, and 2,821 minutes played… Also finished the season tied for second in MLS with one hat-trick, tied for third with five game-winning assists and four penalty-kick goals, sixth with 78 fouls suffered and tied for seventh with three multi-goal games… Named MLS Player of the Week twice, in weeks 10 and 16, and was selected seven times on the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week… Also nominated once for the MLS Goal of the Week and selected four times as the Videotron player of the game by the supporters… Featured in the MLS All-Star Game for a third consecutive year, playing against Juventus in Atlanta on August 1… Set several personal milestones with the Impact, including 100 starts, 100 games played, and 10,000 career minutes in MLS… Surpassed Patrice Bernier for most career assists and most game-winning assists in club history in MLS, before passing Mauro Biello in first place in club history, in the first and second divisions, for most assists in one season, after setting the new MLS club record… Reached 50 career regular season goals in MLS on April 21 against LAFC, while also scoring his first career hat-trick in MLS in the same game… Also surpassed Eduardo Sebrango for second place in club history, in the first and second divisions, with 63 career regular season goals… Also played two Canadian Championship games.

2017: Named the club's Most Valuable Player and received the Giuseppe Saputo Trophy for the third consecutive season, after leading the Impact with 17 goals, while adding six assists in 28 games, including 26 starts, and 2,368 minutes… Finished the year tied for second in MLS with five multi-goal games, tied for third with four penalty goals, tied for sixth with 17 goals and 10th with 37 shots on goal… Named MLS Player of the Month for August and MLS Player of the Week for the 24th week of activity… Selected four times to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week…  Nominated three times for the MLS Goal of the Week and selected eight times as the Videotron Player of the Game… Featured in the MLS All-Star Game, in Chicago against Real Madrid, on August 2… Surpassed Marco Di Vaio to become the all-time goal scorer in MLS club history, with 47 regular season goals, after recording a brace against Portland on May 20… Tied a club record (first and second divisions) by scoring at least a goal in a fifth consecutive game, on August 27 against Toronto, tying previous marks set by Grant Needham in 1993 and Lloyd Barker in 1995… Also recorded a brace in three starts in the Canadian Championship… Signed a contract extension with the Impact for a season and a half, with an option for 2020, on October 10.

2016: Awarded the Giuseppe Saputo Trophy, given to the Impact Most Valuable Player, for a second consecutive year after finishing the regular season tied for third in MLS and first on the Impact with 17 goals and five game-winners in 32 games, including 31 starts, and 2,818 minutes of play… Also finished tied for first on the team with six assists… Recorded three multi-goal games and scored three goals from the penalty spot… Finished in third place in MLS with nine goals on the road, setting a new team record for most road goals… Reached 5,000 career minutes of play with the Impact on September 10 at Philadelphia and 50 career games played and starts with the Impact on July 23, also against Philadelphia… Named the MLS Player of the Week for the 10th week of activity… Selected eight times to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week… Won the AT&T Goal of the Week five times while being nominated another four times… Selected eight times as the Videotron Mobile Player of the Game by the fans, three times as the Members’ Player of the Month and won the Members’ Goal of the Month another five times… Won the Members’ Goal of the Year for his goal in Vancouver… Appeared in his first career AT&T MLS All-Star Game on July 28 against Arsenal in San Jose… Helped the Impact reach the Eastern Conference Final, tallying four goals and two assists in five starts during the MLS Cup Playoffs… Started one Amway Canadian Championship game… Also started the international game against A.S. Roma on August 3 at Stade Saputo.

2015: Awarded the Giuseppe Saputo Trophy, given to the Impact Most Valuable Player, after recording 12 goals and 12 assists in all competitions in 2015… Started all six games in the CONCACAF Champions League Championship Stage and helped the team reach the final against Club América, recording three goals and two assists in 526 minutes played… Scored important goals in the first leg of the semifinals against L.D. Alajuelense and in the first leg of the final against Club América at Estadio Azteca… Led MLS and established a new team record with six game-winning assists, in addition to finishing tied for sixth in the league with four goals from the penalty spot… Concluded the season ranked first on the team with eight assists and second with nine goals, including three game-winners, in 26 starts and 2,213 minutes played… Won the AT&T Goal of the Week for week 33 against New England and was a finalist for week 22 at New York City FC… Selected seven times as the Videotron Mobile Player of the Game… Started the Knockout Round game against Toronto and both Eastern Conference semifinals games against Columbus, registering one goal and one assist in the MLS Cup Playoffs… Also played two Amway Canadian Championship games.

2014: Joined the Impact on July 2, becoming the third Designated Player in club history… Recorded four goals and one assist in six regular season games, all starts… Started and played his first career game in MLS on August 16 against Chicago… Scored his first two MLS career goals on August 30 against Columbus Crew SC… Named to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week for weeks 25 and 27 and selected four times as the Videotron Player of the Game… Registered two assists in two starts in the CONCACAF Champions League group stage, helping the team reach the quarterfinals.

2013-14: Was instrumental in San Lorenzo winning the Torneo Inicial, the season’s first half championship, finishing tied for third in the league with eight goals while adding four assists in 19 games… Also scored one goal in 13 games in the second half of the season… Started both games in the Copa Sudamericana against River Plate… Led San Lorenzo to the Copa Libertadores title, scoring three goals in 13 games, including a brace in the final group stage game against Brazilian club Botafogo that helped the team reach the knockout round, and an important goal against Cruzeiro in the quarterfinals… Started the team’s first leg in the final against Nacional before leaving to join the Impact in MLS.

2012-13: Joined Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro, in the Argentine first division, on August 16, after receiving several offers from prestigious clubs such as River Plate and Independiente… Scored three goals in 21 regular season games… Also scored four goals in five Copa Argentina games, helping his team reach the tournament final against Arsenal.

2011-12: Played 11 games in his second season in Serie A with U.S. Lecce as well as one Coppa Italia game.

2010-11: Signed with newly promoted club U.S. Lecce in August, in the Italian first division… Recorded three goals and two assists in 25 Serie A games in his first season in Italy… Also played one game in the Coppa Italia… Made his Serie A debut on August 29 in a loss to AC Milan.

2009-10: Joined prestigious Argentine Club Atlético Independiente at the end of August, finishing the season as one of the top scorers in the Primera Division with eight goals and four assists in 35 games, including 31 starts and 2,626 minutes played.

2008-09: Played 31 games with Gimnasia La Plata, registering one goal and four assists in close to 2,000 minutes played in the Argentine first division.

2007-08: Recorded seven goals and two assists in 36 games and 2,503 minutes played with Gimnasia La Plata.

2006-07: Spent the first half of the season with A.S. Saint-Etienne in the French first division before returning to Argentina in January, with first division club Gimnasia La Plata, scoring two goals in 11 regular season games… Made his Primera División debut on February 9, in a 2-0 loss to Arsenal de Sarandi.

2005-06: Started the season with Chacarita Juniors, in the Argentine second division, scoring five goals in 19 games… Joined French club A.S. Saint-Étienne in January, playing one Ligue 1 game against Sochaux and three Coupe de la Ligue games.

2004-05: Made his professional debut in the Primera B Nacional with Chacarita Juniors, scoring five goals in 31 games.

YOUTH
Played with Club Mitre de General Baldissera, before joining Newell’s Old Boys… Also trained for weeks with Italian giant AS Roma.

PERSONAL
Son of Oscar and Beatriz Piatti… Married to Micaela and they have one daughter, Lola… Also father to a boy, Gabriel… Has one brother, Ezequiel… Grandfather Pedro played in Argentina for Baldissera.
